Adam's Lack of Self-Preservation Instinct, Episode 827

Last night, as we were trying to drift off to sleep:

Me: Um...
Anna: [raises head slightly]
Me: ....nnnnnno.
Anna: [sleepily] What?
Me: Nothing.
Anna: What?
Me: No. You'll hit me.
Anna: [half-asleep, but still menacing as hell] What.
Me: Well, I was thinking about doing a Superman fanfic.
Anna: Uh-huh...
Me: Nothing slash or anything. It's gonna be a sequel to Superman II, which is the only decent one, anyway.
Anna: Okay....
Me: In the story, after the three bad guys get dropped into the ice, their leader somehow survives, and makes his way to the African desert, where he gathers an army on horseback to be his minions.
Anna: [braces self]
Me: Yeah. It'll be called, "The 1,001 Knights of Sahara Zod."
Anna: [pauses, then rolls to face the wall] Go away.
Me: I love you.
Anna: Go. Away.
Me: But...I want to sleep here...
Anna: I don't know you.
