Having a Bad Hair Life

Okay, so my hair is sticking straight up and is roughly the texture of al dente vermicelli. Do I trust Nik to stay out of trouble long enough to fling myself headlong into the shower and wash it?

Actually, I did think of it, but I happen to like my showers very, very hot, which simply would not do for the wee one. (I know, I could've dealt with lukewarm just this once, but I'm a selfish li'l cuss.)
