Easy joke that's been done before, but I can sometimes do the easy jokes.

True (I believe!) story: composer Hans Zimmer was writing what would be his very influential score to the 1989 film Black Rain. A Paramount executive HATED the score and said no, score this scene like the music in this scene from Rocky. Dutifully, Zimmer rented Rocky and fast-forwarded to the scene. It had no music. As Zimmer later said, "I can do that." (He scored the scene the way he wanted, with director Ridley Scott's backing.)
