When I was growing up, the two things I could never beat my father at were 1) chess, and 2) ping-pong. He had this nasty serve that I just couldn't return.

I finally beat him in chess in high school. I finally finally beat him in ping-pong in senior year high school.

I have a memory of you reciting Porphyria's Lover at the entrance of the Graduate Library where Wright street ends. Or someone reciting poetry they have memorized - think it was you, and think it was Browning.
