blocking anonymous spam

If you go to your Info page (Manage > Info from the menu bar) you can set "Which comments are screened by default?" to "Anonymous".

This will let anon users post, but you have to "unscreen" their comments before everyone else can see them.

This is useful for winnowing the reasonable anonymous posts from the spam. It does mean that you have to do the screening, though. The e-mail you get when someone replies will indicate when you need to do this.
