Happy Anniversary to Me, sorta
Today marks my five-year service anniversary as an employee of The Company That Shall Not Be Named But It Rhymes With Schmerizon. Whoopee-doodle; just in time to get drop-kicked. Actually, it's a significant date, in that I'm now vested, i.e. Ivan Seidenberg and His Minions of Evil (I'm going to start a band and call it that) can't touch my pension. Just step the back up, O money-grubbing corporate whores! It's minemineminemine! Plus, I get a token of the corporate masters' appreciation, which has already been selected and delivered: I chose the pup tent, because the elder wee one has been begging to go camping in the backyard for years now. Now if only we can get a weekend where I don't have to work and the weather doesn't require the construction of an ark...

I had my five year anniversary with Solo Cup, got a water purifier, got vested in my 401K, got my last tuition reimbursement check, and promptly quit. That was fun.
