I suppose it was inevitable, but that doesn't mean I have to like it: my immune system, displeased with my bat-whack sleep cycle, decided to flip me off by letting the creeping illness that has been threatening my well-being sneak in and take over the joint. Oh, frabjous day, calloo frickin' callay. Hacking, wheezing, full-body achy, snot-ridden, chills...yeah. And that was even before the dizzy spells started kicking in. I slept late, got up for a bit, slept another two hours, and am now flat on my back under a mound of blankets trying to focus on the monitor long enough to type this. Bleagh.

But yesterday! Yesterday was nifty! Back to yendi and shadesong's place for games and leftover Thanksgiving grub. Tsuro was played, then a Munchkin mashup thing that I sat out of, then Jungle Speed (a.k.a. You Didn't Need Those Fingernails Anyway, Did You?), and finally a nice round of Cosmic Encounter. After that, I hung out with chaos5023 and figmentj until some ridiculous hour of the morning, which I'm sure didn't help the impending plaguem but was totally worth it. Good couple of days all around between that and Thanksgiving, but now I shall pay my dues by passing out again for a while. Cheers.

That sounds like the same symptoms I've had. Look at the back of your throat and see if you have white spots. It might be strep.

Feel better, kiddo. I personally managed to escape Philcon-related confluenza, but I have been pulling such insane hours between Annie's and the mikescomics sale that I don't doubt I will be laid low soon.
