Although, really, the process varies. Poetry, I love the process of the language developing. Fiction? I want to stab it repeatedly between the sentences.

It's OK

And because it's only OK, I don't write nearly as often as I should.

If I could only get the words out of my head and onto the screen....

I'm more likely to hate it when I'm not managing to sit down and write. One way NaNoWriMo's helped is that once I'm typing, it's not really that hard to hit 1,667 words, to use NaNoWriMo's example.

That said, I DON'T WRITE ENOUGH AUGH.

When I was in high school, stuff just spooled out of my head, through my hand, and onto the paper. That was when I didn't give any thought to plotting, pacing, etc. and just rolled with it. So I wrote stories that generally lacked coherent plots or pacing but had pretty good dialog.

Then I tried to impose order on it to have better plotting and such and the use of a keyboard, and it's now a total chore.

On the other hand

I will note that a writer friend of mine was posting online yesterday saying:

"Right now, I am hating everything related to writing."

Writer's block?

All 3? There wasn't an option for that, so I chose the middle one.
