I have been a bad, bad LiveJournalist: even when I have bothered to update lately, I've been leaving all sorts o' stuff out. So to plug some of those gaps:

1) Game Night happened again, for the first time in eons (woohoo!). A good time was had by all: Cranium, Outburst, and a special showing of the infamous videotape of Cretey attempting to ascend Trey's stairs while too drunk to speak coherent English. Jimmy and I broke out our guitars at one point and jammed for a bit, at the expense of a viable group dynamic, I'm afraid, but by that time I was in mopey-wallflowerish mode, a combination of watching people interact in ways that I (wrongly) didn't feel I could participate in, and a massive wave of residual Issues stemming from the current LifeBleagh, as discussed in friends'-list-only entries. So I put an unwarranted whammy on group space, I fear, but in general it was a good time, complete with chicken strips from Applebees and alcoholic beverages.

2) Took the job test. Passed. Took a class for my next test. Did even less actual work than last time. That test's on Friday. I'll prob'ly pass it, too. Still won't get the stupid job. I hate seniority.

3) So anyway, the Chuck 'n' Marci saga continues (that's sis-in-law Marci, not coworker Marci). The wedding's long since been cancelled, but the two have been persevering within the relationship. Or had been, rather: Marci announced that she was moving back in, at least temporarily, bringing the household census up to five adults, two kids, four cats and a pit bull with the IQ of a Post-It Note. She crashed on the couch for, I dunno, three days, until the night she said she and Chuck were going to "talk." We haven't seen her since, and her robe's still hanging on the bathroom door. Go figure.

4) Abbey is now a Steeleye Span fan, exhibiting a strong preference for "All Around My Hat" and their take on "Rave On." Nik announced that he was ready to leave the other day by saying, "Okay, time to boogie." We are parenting them well.

5) Still can't decide on what to do for my vacation. Airfare to Champaign-Urbana just went up again, so that's out; this leaves me with the short weekend road trip thingy. Pondering...

6) I'm working on Easter. Whatever.
