Live and learn
Apr. 24th, 2003 08:35 pmNow is evidently the time for experience to teach us valuable life lessons that we may carry with us throughout our journeys.
Abbey has learned that, no matter how conveniently close to the bed it may be, the window pane is not a good place to rest one's stocking feet while watching TV. (She's fine. Wish I could say the same for the window.)
Nik has learned that, if one is in the bathtub, and one would like to fill one's hands with bubbles and smack them together as hard as possible, it is advisable to keep one's tongue in one's mouth at the moment of impact. Furthermore, he has found that wiping bubbles off one's tongue with one's hands doesn't work when said hands are filled with bubbles themselves.
Me? Haven't learned a thing. Never do. Ask anyone who knows me.
