Don't know why this struck me as funny...

From two days ago, in the car on the way home from the sitter's:

Abbey: Oh, no!
Me: What?
Abbey: I left my bag at Margie's!
Me: Look in your backpack.
Abbey: No, I need the bag with my special books in it...
Me: Abbey, look in your backpack.
Abbey: No, no, it was a plastic bag, I left it at...
Me: Abbey. Look. In. Your. Backpack.
Abbey: No, I... [looks in backpack] Silly me.

Well, it seems the sleep deprivation is beginning to show. Time to go hold down a pillow with my face, methinks. G'night.
