eleazar, prolixfootle, and the media pusher extraordinaire himself, daev, for slipping me the goods. (I'm sorry that not every MP3 you sent got used, but between iTunes power searching, research and an embarrassment of riches I was able to be choosier than I thought. As a result, some tracks got excised because of one or more of the following: (a) space considerations; (b) another track by the same artist that I liked better; (c) a desire for more stylistic variety (kitchen sink, indeed); and/or (d) personal aesthetics. But each of you made essential contributions, and you all rock the proverbial Casbah.)
A few thoughts on the final product:
a) This is the weirdest damned mix I've ever done. Ever.
b) Now all I need to do is create some cover art, which is still up in the air since I can't seem to find that Aubrey Beardsley whipping boy illustration anywhere.
c) Anyone who knew me in high school would probably pass out if they knew I was doing this, especially once they found out I actually paid money to download a Danzig track.
d) That said, I was so unqualified to be doing this. Thank you all for your patience.
