Excess, and loving it
Aug. 14th, 2004 10:16 pmHerein is the primary problem with the iTunes/CD burner one-two combo:
I decided, just for giggles, to make myself a mix. And this being a mix just for myself, and therefore not needing the bells and whistles and Cecil B. DeMille production values, I figured I could just go through my library and put all of the good stuff on, limiting myself to one song per artist. I spend a nice few afternoons making primary selections before the trimming-down and arrangement.
Which is more or less how I ended up with a 19-hour, 305-song playlist. One that'd swallow about 15 blank discs whole if I decided to actually burn the bastard.
*cough* Yes, well. I think I'm going to be in for a bit of an editing process, most likely.
(And before you ask: No, I don't have an MP3 player of any sort, other than Muckle John the Happy Blue iMac itself. Pity, that.)
