Today's afternoon whatevers

rafaela, lbitw and jenphalian, at the home of the latter couple. Highlights were the roast chicken with rosemary, garlic and red potatoes, and the roasted green beans, that they let me destroy their kitchen to make; jenphalian's cherry pie, which she insisted on apologizing for, even though she had absolutely no reason to do so; one of the more cutthroat games of Chez Geek I've ever engaged in; getting to see jenphalian's gorgeous new inkwork; hearing lbitw tell the tale of their first encounter; and much joy and good company and hugs and conversation and other happies, which I hope were worth the while for them, too, since we kept them up way, way past their bedtime. (Um, sorry 'bout that....)
2) I have no idea what I'm craving right now, but I'm craving something, and it's irking me.
3) Is it too early to declare Picaresque by the Decemberists as the best album of the year? (Okay, okay, fine, I'll wait until the Richard Thompson comes out.)
4) I feel downright productive: Not only have I gotten three puzzles submitted in the last few days, but I've actually done a little work on the Lemmings Encyclopedia. Go, me. On that note: Hey,odhierre, you out there?
