Last night, [livejournal.com profile] jenphalian and [livejournal.com profile] lbitw were kind enough not only to hang out with us and make us less lonely, but also to grace us with a disc full of essential mp3-type material, ranging from the Dropkick Murphys to Patton Oswalt. I lovingly deposited said files into iTunes, and [livejournal.com profile] rafaela followed this up by uploading the last few discs of Goth and dance-pop from [livejournal.com profile] botia and [livejournal.com profile] icarusfallen8 that we hadn't gotten to yet. Then we sat back an looked at our handiwork.

Total number of tracks on iTunes: 10339 songs. We've cracked the five-figure threshold.

Dear Jeebus, what is wrong with us?

Y'know, when I bought this 80 GB external hard drive just for music, I figured it would last me an extraordinarily long time. But here we are at the two-year mark, and it's already substantially more than half full. Jeesh. If this continues, we're going to have to start weeding some stuff out. (Note to Anna: No, you can't delete the Liz Phair. Don't ask.)
