rafaela seems to be doing better now, thank heavens.
2) Thanks toyendi for pointing out that the Oscar nominations are out! I'm thinking that I'll be doing my annual Predict the Oscars contest here, rather than at work. Advantages: more actual movie buffs. Disadvantages: I can't talk my employers into coughing up for the prizes. Any ideas of good swag that can be provided by a guy who basically has no money?
3) Let it be known that I am an Awesome Boyfriend: whenrafaela woke up at midnight after having dreamt about being given two hot dogs, I put on my shoes and drove to New Way Lunch to grab her a couple of Dirty Johns to satisfy her craving. (Her: "Just pretend I'm pregnant." Me: "NO.")
4) I wish I had transcribed the conversation I had with a cheese log of a customer yesterday; all I can remember is him saying, "There's vitamin B in my cereal. Is someone standing outside my door with a cell phone transmission?" This was my cue to hang up on him.
