2) Meanwhile, Abbey informed us the other day that she's always wanted to go Goth, right after expressing her love for Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart." We've promised her we'll take a day out to Goth her up this summer, along with Nik if he wants. Will so be getting pictures of that.
3) I hope Anna's mom doesn't read this, but we found the perfect 50th birthday present for her: an inexpensive vinyl LP by the Star-Spangled Washboard Band. Backstory #1: this was the band that eventually morphed into Blotto. Backstory #2: Anna's mom used to date one of the guys in the band. Score.
4) Apropos of nothing, but Robert Bly is an ugly ol' goober.
