Blogathon update #1

First of all, thank you so much to everyone who has pledged to sponsor me for Blogathon 2006! So far, I've already received $87 in pledges toward my goal of $500, which utterly blows me away. So to auntiegrizelda, margrietta, catamorphism and I'm-not-recognizing-your-name-so-if-you're-reading-this-please-give-me-a-heads-up-as-to-your-LJ-persona Annissa, you all have my eternal gratitude.

Secondly, a general reminder that this year I am blogging in support of the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission, a non-profit organization dedicated to the securing of human rights for those facing discrimination or violence based on sexual orientation, gender identity or HIV status.
