A one, and a two, and a....
Oct. 6th, 2006 11:24 pm1) The main problem with Thai chicken curry is not giving in to the impulses that lead you to gorge yourself on another bowlful the very instant you are able to walk without waddling again. The siren song of the coconut milk compels me! Save me!
2) Dark portents be damned, I bit the bullet and sent in another puzzle to the magazine this afternoon, and received a favorable reply within hours; it'll be appearing in the March '07 issue. Much with the w00tness! 'Course, it was a quasi-sudoku-related thingamabob, so I think I've officially jumped the proverbial shark now, but as long as they liked it, I'm not too displeased.
3) The Song of Songs was the unintended basis for the staging of Grease's "Summer Nights." Discuss amongst yourselves.
4) Hot cocoa. Hot cocoa would be good. I need to train the cats in the art of hot cocoa preparation, so that I don't need to get out of the damn chair. Mind you, this would probably require prosthetic opposable thumbs for the li'l darlin's. It's times like this when a degree in biomechanics and a soldering iron would come in handy.
5) Reading this over, I've come to the conclusion that I need more sleep in my life. Thank you for your time. Granola.
