From the one to the two to the three

two) I love Wikipedia. Were it not for Wikipedia, I might never have known that during the filming of Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song, which includes several unsimulated sex scenes, Melvin Van Peebles contracted a sexually transmitted disease, for which he filed a claim for workman's compensation. And got it. Ay gazpacho, the chutzpah on that boy fills me with awe.

digitalshepherd was good enough to post a link to the home page of a band called (and I do not make this up) Beatallica. It's a speculative band: if the gentlemen of Metallica had written the Beatles' musical catalog.... Yeah. I need to go put my brain back in my head. Would you excuse me a moment?
