Quiet Sunday
Jan. 28th, 2007 06:16 pmA blessed Sunday off! How rare! How quaint! How wintry!
I actually set the alarm kinda sorta, to allow me enough time to get down to Troy to hang out with the lovely Miss
amalthya, who was in town for Genericon with a posse of friends whose names I should have written down because I can't remember a damned one of them. I didn't get to the con proper because I needed to get back to Glens Falls relatively early, but I did get to join them for a game of Pimp (18 kinds of wrong and highly controversial for a reason, but quite playable), and talked them into playtesting Talent Pool for me. Great fun, and great seeing you, Laura! Very, very much hoping to see you again! LJ hugs!
Since then, it's been lazing about, engaging in interpersonal activities, and braving the snow for dinner and videos. Sadly, the local Hollywood Video does not have Boondock Saints, because apparently someone rented their copy and didn't return it, and then someone else did the same with the replacement copy. Oh, well, it was probably too violent and antisocial, anyway. So we got A Clockwork Orange instead. (And Caché, which I've not yet seen.)
And now, Shake 'n' Bake pork chops sing out to me, and I cannot resist their siren's call. Avanti!
