1) Wow, missing LJ two days in a row? Someone must have slipped me an apathy pill.

2) A glorious thunderstorm's brewing out there. Sweet.

3) The cats have decided to return to their old, supposedly forgotten furniture-befouling habits. I have somehow restrained myself from Scotch-taping them to the ceiling tiles.

4) rafaela is doing Blogathon this year, in support of STAR, the program that her mother is involved in that allows the disabled to work with horses. (Her 'thon account is at star_barnkitty.) I am hoping to participate as well, but that will depend on whether I can secure the use of a laptop for the last weekend of July (we have none, and Anna will be using the one that we will have access to). We will likely be in the Boston area, as shadesong has invited several Blogathonners to join her for the ride. liamstliam has said he might be able to help in that area, but we'll need to see.

5) Thank you to everyone for all your comments over the last few weeks! I know I haven't been very good about replying, but your words are still very, very much appreciated.

6) Aaaaand the thunderstorm has gone from brewing to downright scary. Getting the hell offline now....

Finally! The Alt90's Music Quiz results and answers!

I'm sorry it took so long to get around to this, but the results are in for the Alt90's Music Quiz, 2007 Edition! Thanks to everyone who took the time to participate; this was not an easy quiz, and I'm grateful that y'all made effort to give it a go. Right now, it gives me great pleasure to announce the winner: with a very impressive 25 out of 33 correct (plus another three that were partially correct, but with misidentified tiles), our Grand Poobah of 90's Alternative is...domani! Congratumalations! Your prize will be in the mail as soon as I get off my duff to rip and burn the necessary doodads.
