A couple of thingamabobs

Firstly, if you haven't submitted a movie list for the meme we're collectively creating, by all means do so. I'm hoping to launch the final version on Monday.

Secondly, a friend from work who I like to throw puzzles-in-progress at for playtesting, has a son who works for Oxford University Press, who in turn commissioned a Mother's Day-themed puzzle for the OUP blog. That puzzle just went up today; it's not exactly the prettiest thing I've ever done, but it works, and there are aspects that I'm rather proud of. (And Christian, if you're reading this, thank you again!)

Thirdly, rafaela and I went to a taping of Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me in Schenectady last night. A full report will come later today. (Sneak preview: Adam Savage from Mythbusters was the special guest brought in to play "Not My Job." Sadly, it was by satellite link, since he was in San Francisco at the time.)
