A blessing, and a question (in that order)

First of all, I want to wish everyone who celebrates a most blessed Beltane! (And to those who don't: TGIF, yo!)

Secondly, an idle question that I probably shouldn't be asking late on a Friday: if I were to record about six to eight of my own songs—and we're talking seriously-cheap recordings here, demo quality at best—and offered the lot for sale for 5 bucks in either CD or MP3 format, would anyone out there consider buying? And do be honest; I'm seriously interested in getting a feel for how much response this would get before I start plowing ahead with anything rash.
