How bored am I at work? Regret that you ever asked

In an attempt to get over my vague melancholy over not doing Blogathon this year, I decided to make a small contribution to the process by offering randomly-selected topics, all in list form, that one may post about if one were stuck for ideas at ohgodit'searly:30 in the morning. Several folks, like mllelaurel, eustaciavye and shadesong's Kid of Awesome Elayna took me up on the offer, but a bunch of topics I had ready to go never got doled out, including one that I would have loved to see used in the wee hours, when sanity and self-restraint have left the building. Since I hate to see it go to waste, I'll go for plan B: lob it out there as a meme and see if it sticks.
