Life. Don't talk to me about life.

I've been living in this miserable town for well over a decade now. And for all that time, I've been wishing for two things that would brighten my life immeasurably: a board game night (with something other than Pictionary and Taboo), and an open music circle.

To my utter glee, both of these prayers have been answered in the wee months of the new year: aquila_dominus and cluegirl have begun a new monthly filk get-together at their gorgeous home in Troy, and liamstliam just announced a game night that he and alethea_eastrid are hosting right here in Glens Falls.

You guessed it: they're on the same night.

If anyone needs me, I'll be over there in the corner, sobbing quietly.
