There is stuff. I like stuff.
Mar. 15th, 2010 01:18 pmMy day is off to a somewhat promising start, as I have just acquired the following:
* a cheap copy of Boiled in Lead's From the Ladle to the Grave on CD
* a Shamrock Shake
Both make me comfy and nostalgic, in oh-so-different ways. I haven't had a complete working copy in From the Ladle in well over a decade, so I'm particularly glad to have it back again; not every song is exceptional, but the ones that are tear holes in the fabric of the Universe and fill them with awesome.
And Shamrock Shakes are simply the awesome we use to fill holes in the fabric of the Universe when Boiled in Lead isn't doing it for us.
Mind you, none of this alters the fact taht I didn't sleep for squat last night and am currently running on auxiliary power, silently praying that I don't keel over as I go off to day number 7 in a 7-day work stretch, but I cling to the small victories.
