Meanwhile, back at the homestead....

* Pay phone caller on my last day: "Did you know that I could have taken the death penalty and had it witnessed by Dr. Angelo and you should all die and burn in hell?" (Is it strange of me to say that I'm kind of going to miss this?)

* I lost a filling yesterday. Oh, rapture. Doesn't hurt (yet), but this wasn't exactly something I was hoping to pencil into my day planner.

* Things I was more that happy to pencil into my day planner: a visit from the ever-nifty botia and icarusfallen8 to help celebrate rafaela's and my respective releases from our dens of holding. Mexican food ensued, as did pineapple Kool-Aid (it's lovely, rubian77!) and a game of Ido.

* To all the fathers out there, be it by biology or circumstance, I wish you the happiest of Father's Days and the best of times!

* Yeahhhh, I stayed up too late. Gnarrr.
