Gathering of the Tribes (with Foam Noodles)

Ow. But it's a good ow.

I'm keeping this short because my arms and shoulders are in such utter miserable pain that typing is a challenge, but: primal_pastry invited Abbey, Nik and I to join her and her kids at the swimming pool of a friend, and once we'd gotten ourselves stuck in utterly miserable Mass Pike traffic and gotten throughly lost in the northerly extra-Bostonian wilds, we had a total blast, with my progeny and primal_pastry's getting along terrifyingly well. This led to the current state of affairs, wherein Abbey and Nik are crashing here for the weekend (I'm predicting a lot of anime), with me chlorine-sedated and hurting from neck to fingertips. So very worth it.

All right, need'um painkillers....
