Bits and kibbles
Sep. 3rd, 2010 11:42 pm* I went and bought some bookshelves the other day; only need now to assemble them. The shelves will, of course, be instantaneously full, possibly even before I'm done hammering.
* Resume is done, shockingly, although I do want to farm it out to a few people for editing and critique. Thus I complete a process that ranks in my mind somewhere between tax audits and dental surgery on my list of Fun Things to Do.
* The rain situation is keeping me indoors tonight. Boo.
* I've just received another commission for a crossword from Chris over at the Oxford University Press blog, in honor of the upcoming launch of a new online Nifty Thing. Awesome news (he pays very well, and in cash), but he's hoping to get the puzzle into either Games or the New York Times around December, but given the amount of pull I have with said publications (slim and none, respectively) and the turnaround times for same (long and longer, respectively), I'll have to respectfully suggest that he simply drop it on the website again and hope for the best.
* Yeah, I've got nuthin'.
