Blips on the radar of modern life
Jun. 9th, 2011 11:37 pmI got a vivid reminder this afternoon that when one is required to stir the very full pot of squash puree that has been slowly simmering on the stove, one may want to put some clothes on. Then again, life without its uncomfortable moments is life not worth living, I suppose. That said: ow.
On the brighter side, a Boston roller derby skater made my day by telling me she liked my blue sparkly fingernails. Many thanks to

Oh, and we caught a showing of X-Men: First Class this afternoon. Not the worst travesty I've ever coughed up money for, and although I found the movie as a whole lacking in some ways, James McEvoy still bends my Kinsey score like Uri Geller headbutting the flatware department at Macy's. So there's that.
