The Elmsley Count? Is DONE.

Oh, hell to the yes. Since this morning's post, I finally killed off the last of the replacement vocal tracks, fought off the temptation to record a 12th track (well, okay, I spent a half-hour trying and failing to make a 12th track work before I decided to save it for my second album), got the final front and back cover art and label art from [livejournal.com profile] figmentj, and proceeded to kill two separate CD burners in my attempts to produce a single hard copy of the damned thing, but gods, was it worth it. I can't stop just looking at the thing, in my hands at last after a year and a half's work—longer, if you consider that there are songs of mine on here that date back to the 1990's.

The good news, aside from my no longer whinge-posting about how the CD still isn't done, is that the tentative schedule put forth in the earlier post is a definite go: digital sales will begin on Tuesday, November 22, with advance physical copies available at the Heather Dale show on Monday, November 21. Also, I'm currently in negotiations with [livejournal.com profile] shadesong and [livejournal.com profile] yendi about doing a house concert of my own sometime in January, which we'll hopefully be able to arrange in the very near future.

...ye gods, this is really happening, isn't it?
