Two years ago today, just after midnight,
rain_herself and I stood in our living room in Watertown with a handful of friends and loved ones, and spoke a few lines about growth and change and commitment, and love. We had no idea what kind of journey we'd be embarking on, one that would lead to separation by thousands of miles and a closeness tighter than our own skin. It's been frightening in places, worrisome in others, and so hopeful and joyous on the whole that it's a wonder we're able to contain it sometimes.
I love you, Jenna, my girl. I'm in, still and always.
