Yup, Hanukkah celebration down in Saratoga Springs. Much with the singing, much with the baklava, way much with the candles, too much with me trying to get my yarmulke bobby-pinned just so. Great fun all around. Earlier, I got to get chased around by the young'uns, which was, well, tiring. Before even that, I had an appointment with Dr. B, who gave me the official (i.e. typed) results of the liver ultrasound, ganked some more blood for one last worst-case-scenario hepatitis B test, and told me that a better diet and exercise would probably help the, and I quote, "fatty intrusion". Yippie skippie.

Oh, and in our ongoing pursuit of our Vulture Chic decorating style, we managed to scavenge an über-comfy papasan chair that was in the process of abandonment. It looks lovely along with our equally-scavenged mauve bookshelves, art-mod wall clock and plush ottoman. Now, if we just find a decent futon somewhere....
