So anyway, that 24-hour stomach that's been making the rounds? The one that hit about six of my friends but missed me? If the slight twist I'm sensing in my alimentary canal is any indication, it didn't really miss. Sakes alive, I hope I'm wrong about that, but in the meantime, if anyone needs me, I'll be under 27 blankets, slowly rocking back and forth like an untenanted La-Z-Boy, crying into the pasty-white skin of my elbow. Somebody poke me with a stick every few hours to make sure I'm still producing fluids.
