slipjig31) Today I got nudged in the head with a water bottle being wielded by my supervisor. Apparently it's one thing to take a nap during training; it's quite another to have brought a pillow from home for the occasion. Damned slave drivers....
2) The reason for #1: three and a half hours' sleep last night. Very much not complaining, though.

4) "I came home, and there were brownies!" I like this sentence. I especially like this sentence when it's true.
5) Spent the morning bopping about town withzarhooie, who intoduced me to Aldi Supermarkets, handed me a noodle bowl, slugged me in the arm for talking like a chipmunk, and joined me in scooping up rafaela for bagels. An excellent morning, totally ruined by having to go to work (even though Sean T. did tell the infamous European Bread Story).
