Jun. 27th, 2007 10:41 amI finally hauled Harold the Hoopty-Car in for repairs this morning, a nice slog down to Saratoga Springs for the nearest available State Farm-compatible body shop. My rental this time out is a PT Cruiser, which I've long been curious about. I can definitely file it under the category of "weirdmobile," with its window controls smack in the middle of the dashboard, right under the analog clock (!), and white-backgrounded dials that seem ready to broadcast messages from Alien Slavemaster Xnorq any second. That, and Harold has better subwoofers. Ah, well, it's not too bad, all told.
The funny part? As of dropping off the Oldsmobile, the front bumper was still in the back seat. No, I don't even remotely know why. Come home soon, Harold
