rubian77, so far we have collected 23 non-English translations of "I am a member of the Imperial senate on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan." Thank you so much to everyone who has participated! I am always accepting new submissions. (Please note: In my mind, I consider Pig Latin, Ubbi-Dubbi and similar tongues to be English dialects, rather than languages in their own right.)
The Random Acts of Kindness Poll: I'm planning on posting the results sometime in the next few days, but I'm a bit disappointed about the relatively small number of responses I've gotten so far. The Movie Stills Meme: Let me just say that I'm profoundly impressed with my f'list at this point: out of 30 stills, y'all successfully identified 25 of them, including six of the skull-crushing "prestige" set. I now officially am collectively in love with you guys. Since responses have tapered off, I am going to place the answers behind the following cut (items that no one got are marked with an asterisk):
