NaNo Update, for those who care. *crickets*

Current word count: 18,900 and change, about 6,000 more words than I've ever written of anything ever ever ever. I'm a bit behind, but not insurmountably so, and not as badly as I was a few days ago. The amazing part is that my enthusiasm's still in place. (Hell, I'm just amazed that I'mRight now I'm writing the scene that's been in my head for over 15 years, and I'm realizing that it's absolutely atrocious. Oh, well.

By the way, I never did thank whomever sent me that lovely virtual typewriter on my info page. Thank you, Anonymous One!

I should be writing right now. I likely would be, if my brain weren't the consistency of lukewarm rice pudding, without raisins. Likely a sign that I need to go hold down a pillow with me face for a while. G'night, all.

A friend of mine and I sat down with our NaNo on Sunday to read/edit and we did six and a half hours of work straight through with only one break for juice. NaNo is amazing.

Her husband was sitting downstairs the entire time... NaNo'ing.
