Carry on, carry on

The Forces of Nature have been kind and graced us with a day that didn't cap above the mid 60's temperature-wise, and a sky that was nicely grayed over. It's all I've been praying for for weeks now; even the rain falling as I type this is lovely in my eyes. Not so lovely: the current state of the apartment, which is making me cringe even more than usual. Some people do spring cleaning; I do autumn cleaning. Bleagh.

Meanwhile, poor rafaela's knee has decided that it wants to kill her as slowly and painfully as possible. It doesn't help that we live on a fourth-floor walk-up, which means she needs to make the situation worse just so she can get out to someone who can make it better. Join me in wishing her good health.

I'll talk about my tooth another time. It's...not fun.

Tomorrow is a work day for me (which is less than lovely in the wake of the frogmarch through Purgatory that was my workday today), but before that I'll be spending the morning herding girl-child and boy-child about. I've promised them a trip to the arcade, which should be open, seeing as how this is prime tourist season in Lake George. Pardon me while I get my Skee-Ball on.

I'm so sorry to hear you guys are feeling a bit poorly... hope the knee thing clears up soon.
