Sorry I have not been as vigilant as I was hoping to be earlier, but I have been trying to edit a video and I just missed the deadline -- was not meant to be, but was a valuable experience. No worries as there will be other projects for other times. Now I am fully focused on our event so will be catching up with everyone.

I do not think I mentioned this before, but if you need me you can also email me at mrjprintup at gmail dot com.

Even if it's the Criterion collection of Armageddon?

(I was going to include The Rock, but I actually rather like The Rock. Saw that in the theater. Only time I've ever enjoyed getting a headache. Plus it has dialogue by, among others, an uncredited Aaron Sorkin. I think he wrote "First of all, it's because I'm a Beatlemaniac, and second, these sound better."

(Now I want to know who wrote Ed Harris's "Now you're being offered your last chance by a man with a gun.")

Further disclosure: as aggressively dumb as it is, I actually like some moments in Armageddon too. You may defriend me now.

I listened to the excellent commentary track for Walkabout[1] last night and realized "So that's what they're for!" Usually they're just phoned-in stream-of-consciousness blather, an excuse for the director and friends to get stoned together and watch the movie.

[1] And now I know why Jenny Agutter has that reputation...
