I think I'm not surprised Will Shortz's letters contain useful feedback... it seems like NYT is consistently better than several options I've tried in a way that suggests he must care about the outcome. Cool to see it shows up in interactions with submitters.
I did October 1, 2020 today, that I think is yours, along with a coworker friend. :D We were both having quite the struggle until we cracked the theme, then it was just fun!
