I've long thought that Maurice Sendak's Little Bear is the best children's show on TV right now. And now I know why: Last night, Abbey asked if we were going to celebrate the Winter Solstice.

*warm smile* If you want to, Abbey? Of course we will.

Funny... Sébastien and Ophélie watched Petit Ours (Little Bear) this morning on DVD!

So, have you decided *how* you are going to celebrate the Winter Solstice?

I'd vote for a "wheel" of twelve little candles (for the months of the year) around one larger central candle (for the Year King). I even have a simple rite that goes with it, if you want it.
