When I posted about wanting suggestions for a BDSM mix, I did it largely as a lark, of the "Hey, this is something people might have fun responding to" persuasion. I was only half-considering actually compiling and burning such a recording, to perfectly honest.

Then I got inundated with responses, overwhelmingly so. This made me think, "Gee, maybe I should do this after all." And then, [livejournal.com profile] daev slipped me (among other things) a copy of "Don't Ask," by God's Little Homunculus.

Oh, yeah. This mix is so happening.

So here's where I stand in terms of content (in no particular order), along with my wish list of songs that I'd love to get my grubby paws on:

These are definites:
"Leather," Tori Amos (a bit of a stretch, but I'm using it anyway)
"Master and Servant," Depeche Mode
"Backlash Love Affair," Richard Thompson
"Venus in Furs," The Velvet Underground
"Hunting Girl," Jethro Tull
"Don't Ask," God's Little Homunculus
"Oh Bondage, Up Yours!" X-Ray Spex
"Peek-a-Boo," Siouxsie and the Banshees
"Karen by Night," Jill Sobule (still debating this one, actually)
"The Masochism Tango," Tom Lehrer
"A Fairytale About Slavery," Miranda Sex Garden

These are songs I have, but may be left off for one reason or another:
"Do What You Want to Do," Lords of Acid (only if I can't get another more appropriate L.o.A. track)
"Slave," Subduing Mara (works in title only)

And these are songs that I want, many by suggestion:
"Whip in My Valise," Adam Ant
"Pleasure and Pain," The Divinyls
"Closer," Nine Inch Nails (y'all win)
"Sadeness," Enigma ([livejournal.com profile] rafaela has promised me this one)
"Poetry and Power," Gravity Kills
"Nervous Xians," My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult
"Rough Sex" or "Slave to Love," Lords of Acid

Some of the wish list songs are available through the iTunes Music Store, but that'd limit the number of copies I can make of the final product. If anyone can slip my an MP3 of any of these, or of any tracks that in your opinion I've absotively got to hear, any help would be appreciated. Be aware, though, that I've got a teeny-tiny little e-mail inbox, so you'll either need to (a) post it to a public server, or (b) catch me on AIM sometime and do a file transfer; my IM name is Slipjig852. (Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] daev and [livejournal.com profile] eleazar for your early contributions, and to all of you for your suggestions!)

Dude. NIN's "Happiness in Slavery". Depeche Mode's "Strangelove".

See, I was leaning toward "Happiness in Slavery," too, but I got shouted down. In a nice way, of course. *grin*

Hit me on AIM when you're on (I can usually see you log in around 6-7 pm) and I'll shoot you the LoA, NIN, MLwtTTK and possibly Adam Ant (I'll need to check my antmusic...). I'll have to check the hard drive for the Divinyls...

Ooh, ooh, I have a few more suggestions that I wrote down but didn't get around to posting, but the list is on my computer at home... I'll try to remember to post it later.

By the way, it's Einstein's Little Homunculus rather than God's. (When [livejournal.com profile] enegim suggested that song I twigged that it was a perfect match for you.)

Let's see if Adam is smart enough to have turned on e-mail notification of replies.

The secret message is: I've got another one for you -- look in the usual place.
