slipjig3Well, the move went reasonably swimmingly, and the settling-in process is in the downhill stretch, but there is one glaring snafu that is aggravating my dander at the moment: the rat bastards at the company-I-shall-not-name-because-it's-bad-policy-to-bad-mouth-the-telecommunications-company-you-work-for have lied to me. As a result, my DSL service will not be available until next week, leaving me to come crawling to the library to check my e-mail and friends' list, and to discover what a Web addict I really am. What joy.
But in general, things are of the not-bad variety.
