The day begins...

I went to pick up the kids this morning.

First, they two of them greeted me at the door by more or less flying-body-tackling me.

Then, as we were preparing to go, Nik asked me, "Daddy, are we going to rock and roll and shake that groove thang?"

Later, Abbey discovered that she really likes "Leslie Anne Levine" by the Decemberists.

And just now, Abbey informed rafaela that, and I quote, "boys are meatball-heads."

Yeah. They're my kids. Have I mentioned how much I love them lately?

Your kids rock. They actually make me want to have kids, even when they are being bad they still rock. I think I need to go to the mall and be reminded about why I DON'T want to have kids.

Oh, trust me: borrow mine for 24 hours, and they'll give you plenty of reasons why you don't want any. But yeah, they're quite the wonderful.
