1) I have had little or no opportunity to seriously check my friends list over the last half-week or so, and currently have little to no chance of getting caught up, so if there's anything you think I ought to see from this week, feel free to point me in its general direction.

2) Thanks to everyone who requested copies of the Jedi Mind Tricks boxed set! We're terribly flattered! *beaming* We got a lot more responses than we'd anticipated, so there might be a long delay in getting everybody their goods; our apologies in advance. (Also, because my printer is being a recalcitrant crack whore this month, we likely will be sending the discs out with handwritten labels, instead of the cute printed things a few of you may have seen from me. Sorry...)

3) And speaking of mix CDs, confidential to [livejournal.com profile] rhiacat: I got 'em! Thankyouthankyouthankyou! *a thousand happydances* Absolutely love the soundtrack-mix concept—no fair giving ideas to the terminally bored. Thanks again for all the goodies!

4) Per earlier private discussions:

Thanks to everyone who requested copies of the Jedi Mind Tricks

The secret to being a music pusher is to collect and collate other people's mix tapes and compilations, waiting for the moment to drop a well-chosen obscurity onto a new mix.

In other words, send me one, too. :-)

Yes! You have taught me most of what I know about mix-making, and on this particular count, you have taught me well, sir. Given how much of this mix was sponged from [livejournal.com profile] catamorphism, [livejournal.com profile] spoothbrush, [livejournal.com profile] prolixfootle and you, in addition to Anna's and my personal stash, you can piece that together quite well.

Where's the "I have no clue because I never listened to anything but classical until I was 14 and still haven't gotten caught up" option? :P

As always, that would be the "don't respond to the poll if you don't have an answer" option.

Although, in this case, the "go listen to the song and form an opinion" option is also valid.

I'd say that the quotes in the following posts were something to see. In the first, I'm speaking specifically on #1 by anonymous:

Wheee!
I'm so glad it arrived! I can send you the actual list of songs you're supposed to find for the soundtrack. It was a meme a while back.

Actually, there is a track-listing in there; I'm assuming it's the correct one. Thank you again!

Oh, there's this list of "scenes" you're supposed to have songs for, though. That's what I was trying to refer to. I am communication-deficient today.

Okay, there's two lists in there: one track listing of the songs, and one list of what each song represents. Is that what you were thinking of?
