Yes, I'm here. Yes, I've survived the kids, and had quite a good time in the process. I'll be posting more details soon, but for right now, I need to pass on my regrets that I (again) shan't be able to catch up on the friends' list thingy. Have I missed anything that you feel I should know about?

Isn't it difficult when you miss a few days?

I find that I tend to end up writing all these lame entries in one go, sitting back and going, 'Well... I kind of captured the... event... sort of'. Most people on my friends list aren't prolific enough writers (can I use prolific there???) for me to worry about trying to catch up.

Also, isn't it dreadful that the ratio of having lots of time to write about events versus actually doing things worth writing about varies in a directly inverse proportion? Mrrr.

Oh, ye gods, that is so true. I find myself hving to write my entries in my head while the event is actually happening (which probably puts my over the line into Obsessive territory, but so be it). Even then, I still have to actually sit down and type the thing, and it's always a toss-up as to whether that'll happen.

[livejournal.com profile] yendi's recent thread of troll tomfoolery was pretty damn hilarious.
