Cubs and cats

When I informed rafaela that CSI's William Petersen (as reported by laurel) was in the booth for the Cubs game the other day, her response was immediate: "Whoa! He's a Dom and a Cubs fan! That's, like, my dream guy." Indeed.

A few moments ago, as she was walking by the chair, Lucy, the cat with a heart of gold and a brain of Kevlar, reached out her paw, hooked one claw into her pant leg, and tugged her back as if to say, "Hey! What's the big idea not stopping to pet me? What gives, lady?" A cat to the bitter end.

That'll do for now. Time to check on the laundry...
