Playing catch-up
Sep. 4th, 2007 01:15 pmWow, three days in a row with no LJ entry. I think that's the longest gap I've gone through since my old Mac went belly-up.

eustaciavye's courageous journey from the Boston area to the thorny wilds of Glens Falls to hang out with rafaela and myself. (I say "courageous" because I subjected her to the Shaggs within fifteen minutes of her arrival, and yet she did not run screaming blue Saxon murder.) Much music and video goodness was exchanged—you really have no idea how much Placebo material is out there until you're told—and good food was shared, along with roughly 3,294 hands of rummy and 27,015 horrendous puns. We also discovered that an inflatable mattress is good, but an inflatable mattress with a futon layered on top of it is reason enough to sleep in; I only put everything back under great duress. (I am hoping this information entices more folks from Boston to make the journey, hint, hint.) All in all, a great weekend with Someone Cool.
